Doon School is going to open its first international branch in Srinagar Dubai

Recently, Doon School Srinagar has announced to open its first international branch in Dubai. By the end of this year, the school branch will be opened in Dubai. During the media conversation, Shocket Khan said that under the aegis of Wilmort Foundation (Netherlands), the school has decided to open a Dubai branch under its global vision.

Shketk Khan said that “Dubai is an international center connecting Asia, Europe and Africa. It will give our students and teachers access to diverse teaching environment. This step will not further strengthen the Srinagar campus but will strengthen it further, as it will create student-interest opportunities and the world-class practices can be brought to Kashmir.”

Khan expressed gratitude to parents, students and staff for this achievement and said that this achievement is the result of a collective effort. He clarified, “Dubai will be our first branch. We have no other branch in India and Doon School Srinagar is not associated with any franchise.” Khan further said that Dubai Campus will promote student-interest programs, which will provide global exposure without leaving the house, while Dubai students will come to Kashmir and become the brand ambassador of the valley.

He also added, “I want to clarify that Doon School Srinagar has no branch in the Union Territory or any part of the country. ‘Doon’ means ‘Valley’ only and using the name cannot be a part of any school Doon School Srinagar.”

Speaking on future plans, Khan indicated to open branches in North and South Kashmir and assured that there would be no compromise on educational quality. School Principal Syed Mohammad Ayub Kamili said that Doon School Srinagar has been imparting high quality education for more than a decade and has made its mark internationally.
