Dy CM Shinde sent 2 special planes for 164 people stranded in Dubai, all will reach Mumbai this evening

Maharashtra government has taken a big step to bring back its citizens stranded in Dubai. Amid the ongoing tension and problems with flights in the Gulf countries, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has arranged for two special flights to bring back 164 people safely. All these citizens and students will land safely at Mumbai airport by this evening.

Dubai to Mumbai flight timings and routes

According to the information received, both these special aircraft are being operated by ‘Star Air’. These flights have been operated from Fujairah Airport near Dubai. These planes also included 84 students of Pune’s Indira School of Business Studies who were stuck there.

Flight Date: Tuesday, March 3, 2026
Route: Fujairah Airport (UAE) to Mumbai (CSMIA)
First Flight (VTGSO): depart at 3:30 pm
Second flight (VTGSH): depart at 4:30 pm
Mumbai Arrival: Between 5:30 and 7:00 pm

Apart from this, people from Thane, Murbad and Ahilyanagar are also returning on these flights. Passengers said that in difficult times, the UAE government and the airline had made good arrangements for their stay.
