The Indian Embassy in Doha has released a registration form to know the exact number of Indian citizens stranded in Qatar. This step has been taken for those who came to Qatar on Tourist or Hayya A1 visa and are unable to return due to cancellation of flights. The embassy will use this data to provide further assistance and arrange special flights so that everyone can be evacuated safely.
Who are the people who have to fill this form?
The Embassy has clarified that this form is only for tourists and visitors. Those who have a Qatar residence permit or work visa do not have to fill this form. This form is especially for those people whose flights have been canceled between 28 February and 7 March 2026. For registration you can visit the official website.

Visa extension and way to exit Saudi border
Qatar’s Interior Ministry has automatically extended all expiring visas for one month. This rule will be considered applicable from 28 February 2026, so there is no need to worry about overstay. Apart from this, the option of going through Saudi Arabia (Salwa Border) is also open in case of emergency. Those who have a US, UK or Schengen visa can get an on-arrival visa in Saudi, while others can apply for a transit visa.
