A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Kishanganj in Bihar. Ehsan Raza, 34, who returned home after working in Saudi Arabia for 18 months, was murdered. Police investigation has revealed that Ehsaan’s wife Shamreen Taj along with her lover Siraj Anjum had conspired to commit this murder. An attempt was made to pass off the murder as an accident, but the medical report and police investigation revealed the whole truth.
How was the death conspiracy hatched?
Ehsaan had reached his home Kochadhaman in Kishanganj from Saudi Arabia on the afternoon of March 1, 2026. He was working hard abroad and came to meet his family after 18 months. The same day in the evening, his wife Shamreen called him to her parents’ house on the pretext of Iftar. Ehsaan was murdered on the way. His body was found near a culvert near Malhara Madrasa in Rauta police station area of Purnia district at night. The killers had tried their best to show this incident as a normal road accident so that the police could be misled.
How was the secret revealed in the police investigation?
According to Rauta police station SHO Kumar Kunal Saurav, a case was registered on the complaint of the deceased’s father Sabir Alam. When the police and FSL team investigated, it was found that there was no damage to the motorcycle. Apart from this, there were injury marks on the back of Ehsaan’s head, which appeared to be the result of an attack and not an accident. The biggest revelation in this case came when the medical examination revealed that wife Shamrin was pregnant for 2 months. Since Ehsan was working in Saudi Arabia for 18 months, this pregnancy made clear the real motive of the murder and the illicit relationship.
Police action and further investigation
After this entire matter came to light, the police took immediate action. The police have deployed their teams to arrest the people involved in the case.
Police have arrested wife Shamreen Taj and sent her to jail. Shamreen has confessed to her relationship with her cousin Siraj. Siraj Anjum, the main accused of this murder, is still absconding, in search of whom raids are being conducted continuously. Kochadhaman MLA Mohd. Sarwar Alam met the victim’s family and assured strict punishment to the culprits.
