Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma said on Saturday that he will receive the body of singer Zubin Garg in Delhi and then brought to Guwahati.
Sharma said that the body of the singer will be brought to Guwahati by a special aircraft. The aircraft is expected to reach Assam on Sunday morning.
The Chief Minister said that he would go to Delhi to take the body on Saturday. He posted on ‘X’, “I will go to Delhi today after bringing the body of Dear Zubin from Singapore. It is expected that we will bring the dead body to Guwahati from there till six in the morning.”
In this regard, an official said that Garg’s body will be brought to Delhi on Saturday night and will be brought to Guwahati on Sunday morning. Garg died in Singapore on Friday while swimming in the sea without a life -saving jacket.
