New Delhi. India has strongly denied the claim of NATO chief Mark Route over the recent conversation of PM Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Indian Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal has said that the statement of NATO chief is factually wrong and completely baseless. We expect more responsibility and accuracy in public statements from the leadership of an important organization like NATO. NATO chief claimed that Prime Minister Modi had asked Putin about his Ukraine scheme.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said in a press briefing, “We have seen the statement of NATO General Secretary Mark Root about the conversation between the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and Russia Vladimir Putin on the alleged phone. Prime Minister Modi never asked President Putin about his plan about Ukraine as being told. There has been no such conversation between Modi and Putin. Jaiswal further said that the Prime Minister’s conversation is incorrectly presenting or such speculation or negligent comments are unacceptable.

In the tariff case imposed on Trump’s pharma and other produce, Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said, the ministry and the departments are monitoring the matter and assessing its possible impact. Jaiswal said that currently 27 Indian citizens are serving in the Russian Army. He further said, we once again urge all Indian citizens to stay away from the proposals being given to serve in the Russian army as it is dangerous and risky for life.
