The government has appealed that Indian citizens should avoid traveling to Iran due to security reasons in the current circumstances. Also, Indian citizens who are currently present in Iran should seriously consider returning home as soon as possible, giving priority to their safety. This advisory has come at a time when developments in the region are changing rapidly and the situation remains sensitive.
The government may soon start a special rescue operation for the return of Indians present in Iran to their country.
In the instructions issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, it has been clearly stated that in the current situation, unnecessary travel to Iran can be risky. Earlier on January 5 also, the government had issued guidelines for travelers, students, religious pilgrims and tourists to remain alert. According to the latest information, the Government of India is preparing to launch a special operation to ensure the safe return of its citizens stranded there, so that the citizens can be safely evacuated before any emergency.
Tehran gave a direct warning to America, said- if our land is attacked, American bases will not be spared.
Meanwhile, tension between Iran and America has reached dangerous levels.
