There was panic on Saturday when an IndiGo flight coming from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Hyderabad received a ‘human bomb’ threat. The security agencies took immediate action and diverted the plane to Mumbai Airport as a precautionary measure and landed it safely.

✈️ Full incident
On Saturday morning, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad received an email in which a person claiming to be a member of ISIS threatened to repeat the 1984-like bomb blast incident.
The email read that “if the plane lands in Hyderabad, it will be blown up.”
After this warning, the air traffic control immediately diverted the plane towards Mumbai airport.
🧾 Investigation of security agencies
The plane landed safely in Mumbai and a complete security check was conducted.
No explosive or suspicious material was found in the investigation.
Now police and security agencies are trying to find out from where and who sent the threatening email.
IndiGo said, “We have informed all concerned authorities and passengers are being continuously updated. Safety of passengers is our top priority.”
