Abdul Majeed Hakim Elahi, the representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader in India, has completely rejected US President Donald Trump’s claim that Iran wants to negotiate. In an interview given to ANI, Elahi clarified that Iran will not negotiate with America under any pressure and can continue the war for 5 years to protect its honor.
Trump’s claim and Iran’s strong response
Donald Trump had claimed on March 13, 2026 that Iran has been completely defeated and now wants to make a compromise. In response to this, on March 14, Iran’s representative rejected it outright. Ilahi told that Iran was already negotiating with America through Oman, but at the same time America and Israel started attacks.
Iran says that there will be no talks until the attacks stop, sanctions are not lifted and their respect is respected. Iran has blamed America for this war that started after the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on February 28.
Indian ships got special exemption
Amidst the ongoing tension in the Strait of Hormuz, Iran has given a special concession in view of its friendship with India. This war is also affecting the migrants living in India and Gulf countries.
Safe path: Iran has allowed safe passage of two Indian LPG carrier ships (Shivalik and Nanda Devi). These ships have 92,700 MT of fuel.
Indians lost their lives: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has confirmed that so far 5 Indians have died in this conflict and one person is missing.
Oil prices: Due to tension in the region and restrictions on roads, the price of crude oil in the global market remains above $ 100 per barrel.
The truth of the attack on Kharg Island
America had claimed that it had destroyed military bases by bombing Iran’s important oil hub Kharg Island. On the other hand, Iran’s media (IRNA) has called these claims wrong. According to Iran, their oil export process is going on normally and there has been no damage to any oil facility. Iran has clarified that they have not officially closed the sea lanes.
