Iran’s Ambassador to India Mohammad Fathali has appealed to the BRICS countries to take a strong stand against the illegal activities of America and Israel. In this statement given on 6 April 2026, he said that BRICS can play an effective role in protecting international law. The Ambassador has praised India’s appeal for dialogue and restraint. He suggested that India can play a very effective role in the current circumstances. Iran says that BRICS is a forum that can work independently of the traditional global framework and help reduce tensions.
