A Assam court on Friday sent his band members Shekharjyoti Goswami and Amritprabha Mahant on 14 days police remand in connection with the death of singer-musician Zubin Garg.
Munna Prasad Gupta, Special Director General of Police (DGP) of Criminal Investigation Department (CID), told ‘PTI-Bhasha’ that the local court has sent both of them to 14 days police custody.
He said, “The interrogation of the four accused arrested is going on. I cannot say anything more than this at this time. ”
Goswami and Mahant were arrested on Thursday after interrogating for several days. Both were present on a ship in Singapore where Garg died while floating in the sea on 19 September.
The police have already made allegations of murder against Garg’s manager Siddharth Sharma and Festival organizer Shyamkanu Mahant, who were arrested from Delhi on Wednesday.
