A heart-wrenching video has surfaced from Saudi Arabia, in which a young man is helplessly pleading for help. In the video, the young man is calling himself a resident of Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) and is alleging that he was forcibly stopped by snatching his passport.

After the video went viral, now the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia has also come into action.

The embassy said – “Give information, not location, only then help will proceed”

The Indian Embassy posted on It is difficult to take immediate action in such a situation.

The embassy has also appealed to Delhi lawyer Kalpana Srivastava, who shared the video, to provide more information.

The embassy also said that since the youth is claiming to be a resident of Prayagraj, they have also asked the district administration and police to contact the family to gather more information—so that a formal complaint can be lodged and the process of assistance can be taken forward.

Emotional appeal of the young man in the video – “Send me to my mother, I will die”

In the video the young man cries and says:

“My passport has been kept by a man named Kapil… I want to go home but he is threatening me… Brother, help me… Share this video so much that it reaches the Prime Minister… Let me go to my mother, otherwise I will die.”

In the video, the desert and the camel are visible in the background, which gives the impression that he is stranded in some remote area.

Now what next? — What can the government do?
