An administration team was conducting raids in Mokama area near Patna to check black marketing of LPG gas. During this time, a sex racket running in Neelam Hotel was busted. This action was taken under the leadership of Flood Sub-Divisional Officer Garima Lohia. During the raid, many young men and women were found in objectionable positions in the hotel rooms, which created a sensation in the area.

How was it revealed during the raid?
The administration had received news that LPG gas was being misused and black marketed in Mokama area. In this connection, SDO Garima Lohia and a team of police officers were investigating at various places. When the team reached Neelam Hotel for investigation, the activities there became suspicious. On searching the hotel rooms, young men and women were found in suspicious condition. This sudden action of the administration created panic among the hotel operator and the people present there.
What action has the administration taken so far?
Police and administrative officials took action on the spot and completely sealed 5 rooms of the hotel. The administration has started legal process against those involved in this case. Officials say that along with the campaign against gas black marketing, such illegal activities will also be kept under strict vigil. After this raid, the administration seems to be more prepared regarding law and order at the local level.
