Modi said, our government is doing the job of filling the wounds that the Congress government had robbed Rajasthan. Rajasthan became the center of paper leaks in the Congress government. The Congress had also given the water life mission to corruption. Atrocities on women were at its peak and rapists were being protected. Crime and illegal liquor business flourished under the Congress rule.

Modi said, we are moving forward with the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. The Congress always ignored the tribal society and never understood their needs. This is the BJP government that made a separate ministry giving priority to a tribal welfare. When Atal ji’s government came, the tribal ministry was formed for the first time. In the Congress era, no one could even imagine that such a big projects would come in tribal areas.

The Prime Minister said, I urge all the traders to proudly put a board at their shops, on which it is written, ‘It is indigenous.’ When you buy indigenous products, that money goes to our own artisans, workers and traders. That money contributes to the development of the country, rather than going abroad. That money is used to build houses for new highways, roads, schools, hospitals and poor.

Modi said, every middle class family dreams that he has a scooter or motorcycle. It was also out of reach of people under the Congress rule. If the price of a bike was Rs 60,000, then the Congress used to charge more than Rs 19,000 tax. In 2017, we implemented GST, which reduced this tax by about Rs 2,500. Now after the new rates that came into force on 22 September, the tax on a bike of Rs 60,000 has been reduced to just Rs 10,000, that is, people are saving about Rs 9,000 as compared to 2014. The PM further said, we provided electricity to every corner of the country, provided free electricity connections to 2.5 crore houses. Wherever the electricity lines reached, electricity also reached there, which made people’s lives easier and new industries came.
