The National Democratic Alliance, while releasing its manifesto for the Bihar Assembly elections on Friday, made big promises regarding youth and women.
The NDA claimed that if it comes to power in the state, every youth will be “guaranteed a bright future” while women will be taken on the path of “prosperity and self-reliance”.
The manifesto says that NDA will provide more than one crore government jobs and employment opportunities. For this, skill census will be conducted in the state and skill based employment will be provided. Also, Bihar will be developed as a global skill center by setting up huge skill centers in every district.
For women, NDA has announced “Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana”, under which women will be given assistance up to Rs 2 lakh. This scheme will help in making women self-reliant and increasing their participation in the economy of the state.
In the program organized in Patna, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President J.P. Nadda, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief Jitan Ram Manjhi, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan, Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Manch (RLM) chief Upendra Kushwaha, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal were present.
Senior JDU leader Sanjay Jha and senior BJP organization general secretary Vinod Tawde were also present in the program.
