New Delhi. Nitish Kumar has been unanimously elected leader in the NDA legislature party meeting. With this, the final seal has been given that the command of Bihar will remain in the hands of Nitish Kumar. BJP legislature party leader Samrat Chaudhary proposed the name of Nitish Kumar in the meeting, on which everyone agreed. After this, Nitish Kumar met Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan and resigned and submitted a letter of support to the NDA MLAs, staking claim to form the new government. Now Nitish Kumar will take oath as Chief Minister tomorrow Thursday at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Along with Nitish Kumar, BJP leaders Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha will take oath as Deputy CM.

On JDU chief Nitish Kumar being elected as the leader of the NDA legislature party, Union Minister Chirag Paswan said, he has been elected unanimously. The people of Bihar have given a huge mandate to all the NDA candidates. From now on, our responsibility to live up to the public trust increases even more. The work of fulfilling the promises with which NDA leaders had gone among the public before the elections will be done under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.

Let us tell you that out of 243 assembly seats, NDA has won 202 seats. BJP has won maximum 89 seats while Nitish Kumar’s JDU has won 85 seats. Both these parties had contested elections on 101-101 seats. Among other constituents of NDA, Chirag Paswan’s LJP Ram Vilas had contested 29 seats and won 19. Whereas Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party Hindustani Awam Morcha has got 5 seats and Upendra Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Morcha has got 4 seats.
