PM Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Sunday, a day before the new GST was implemented. PM Narendra Modi named it ‘GST Savings Utsav’. In his address to the nation, PM Modi also mentioned a news published in the newspaper ‘Le Eco’ in 2014. PM Modi mentioned this news and said that before the formation of his government, the companies in India had to face the problems. PM Modi said that when the public entrusted him with the responsibility of the Prime Minister in 2014, a foreign newspaper had published a news in a few months. The news mentioned a French company that used to send it to Europe, instead of sending his luggage directly 570 km from Bengaluru. Then the same stuff used to come to Hyderabad from Europe. According to PM Modi, before the formation of his government at the Center, the toll and other paperwork was so much that the businessmen had problems.

PM Modi also gave three mantras in the name of the nation. The first ‘Citizen Devo Bhava:’, the second ‘We buy indigenous things’ and the third ‘we sell indigenous items’. PM Modi once again said that it is very important to adopt indigenous for the progress of the country. PM Modi had earlier insisted on adopting indigenous in his visit to Gujarat on Saturday. PM Modi also spoke about the coordination between self -reliant India and Swadeshi in his address to the nation. He said that the use of indigenous items will lead to self -sufficient India. He said that after the exemption in income tax and GST, now he has great hope from small and cottage industry and MSME.
