Dubai’s prestigious Burj Khalifa was decorated with lights on Wednesday night to celebrate the 75th birthday of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Many pictures of Modi were displayed on the world’s tallest building, with which the Indian tricolor was also seen waving.
Earlier in the day, UAE President Hiz Hynes Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan greeted Modi on the social media platform X. He wrote, “Happy birthday to @narendramodi. I wish you good health and prosperity, as well as wish you a continuous success in furthering India’s progress and prosperity of its people.”
The wishes of the President and this light on the Burj Khalifa became a symbol of strong bilateral relations between India and the UAE. Many other leaders of the world, including US President Donald Trump, also sent a message to Modi. Meanwhile, many Modi supporters in the UAE celebrated their birthday by cutting cakes and shared their best wishes on social media.
