New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Bengal BJP MPs in the Parliament House complex today. During this, Modi told the BJP MPs that to save democracy we have to fight against the Trinamool Congress of West Bengal. During this, Modi also discussed the preparations for the assembly elections to be held in Bengal next year in 2026. The PM directed all the MPs to specifically raise issues related to law and order in Bengal. The Prime Minister also expressed concern over the recent attack on Bengal BJP MP Khagen Murmu. He has also directed to constantly contact the beneficiaries of the Central Government schemes and disseminate information about the Central schemes to the public.
Giving information about PM Modi’s meeting with Bengal BJP MPs, Union Minister of State Sukant Majumdar said that today PM Modi met the MLAs of Bengal and inquired about their well-being, especially the gruesome attack on Khagen Murmu. The Prime Minister talked to them and encouraged them and said that they have fought bravely and will continue to fight in future also. He said that we have to stand strongly against the West Bengal government and continue our struggle against the West Bengal government to protect democracy in the state.

Let us tell you that Khagen Murmu is a two-time MP from North Malda. There was a massive attack on him by TMC supporters on 6 October. The attack took place when the BJP MP was going to distribute relief material in Nagarakata in Dooars area of Jalpaiguri. Khagen Murmu was injured on his face and was admitted to the hospital in a bloody condition where he was kept in the ICU.
