Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat from Thursday to lead the celebrations on the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Patel in Kevadiya.
The Prime Minister will visit Ekta Nagar in Kevadiya on Thursday evening and will flag off the e-buses there. He will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various infrastructure and development projects worth more than Rs 1,140 crore.
He will pay floral tributes at the ‘Statue of Unity’ on Friday, following which National Unity Day celebrations will be held to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
He will also interact with the officer trainees of the 100th ‘Common Foundation Course’ under ‘Aarambh 7.0’.
According to an official statement, the development work taking place in Ekta Nagar aims to enhance the tourism experience, improve the accessibility and connectivity of the area and encourage sustainable development initiatives.
