Punjabi actor-singer Rajveer Jawanda died in Chandigarh on Wednesday, 11 days after being seriously injured in a road accident. Hospital officials said the 35-year-old artiste was declared dead at 10.55 am on Wednesday.
Jawanda suffered serious injuries in a road accident in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, after which he was admitted to a hospital in Mohali, Punjab. Jawanda remained on ventilator for treatment for about 11 days, after which he died today. Sarpanch Harpreet Singh of Jawanda’s native village Pona, while confirming his death, said that the doctors have declared him dead. However, no confirmation has been made yet by Jawanda’s family.
Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Amarinder Singh Raja Wading has also expressed grief over Jawanda’s death by sharing a post on X. He wrote, I am deeply saddened by the news of Rajveer Jawanda’s demise. Everyone prayed for his speedy recovery, but alas, God had something else in mind. My heart goes out to his family, friends and fans who are devastated by this tragic loss. May Waheguru rest his soul in peace and give courage to his loved ones to bear this great loss. rest in peace.

Let us tell you that on September 27, Jawanda met with a terrible accident while going from Baddi in Himachal to Shimla on bike. After this, he had a heart attack while being taken to the hospital. Jawanda was on ventilator ever since he was admitted to the hospital and today he died after 11 days.
