Sambhal violence was conducted from Dubai, Uttar Pradesh Police issued LOC against gangster Sharik Satha operated from Dubai

The lookout circular (LOC) has been issued against local gangster Sharik Satha in connection with the violence in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. According to the police, Shariq Satha is the “main conspirator” in the case and is accused of supplying weapons.

What is the whole matter

On November 24 last year, violence erupted during a court-order survey near the royal Jama Masjid, in which four people died and several policemen including common people were also injured. After this incident, 12 FIRs were registered in various police station areas of Sambhal.

Gang is operating from Dubai

In the violence near the Shahi Jama Masjid, Shariq Satha was found to be the main conspirator. He is a resident of Deepa Sarai area, but is now allegedly operating his gang from Dubai and sending instructions to his colleagues. Arrangements were arranged on his instructions, which were later used in violence.

Dubai ran through fake passport

The police have arrested three of Sharik’s associates.

Shariq Satha has a total of 54 criminal cases registered in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Uttarakhand.

He allegedly fled to Dubai through fake passports in 2020 and is operating his gang from there.

He has mainly involved in auto-lifting cases.

Investigation and foreign links

Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed to investigate the matter.

Six empty cartridges were recovered from the scene, one of which was found to be built in Pakistan, which led to the possibility of foreign link.

The police have filed a charge sheet in 12 cases and the trial has started in 10 cases.

More than 100 people were arrested for involvement in the violence.
