On Thursday, a lean man was standing in the police’s grip in the Rouse Avenue Court of Delhi. The name of the person is being described as Mohammad Dilshad, he is a resident of Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh.
Dilshad was arrested by CBI from the airport on 11 August. It is alleged that he killed an unknown person in Saudi Arabia in 1999 and had been hiding since then for 26 years. The Saudi police found the dead body from a warehouse water tank and Sakas went to Dilshad. Thereafter, an arrest warrant was issued against him in Saudi in 2000. But he returned to India and made a fake passport and roamed different countries.
CBI says that in 2006, Dilshad changed his father’s name and date of birth to get a new passport. Since 2010, he has repeatedly traveled to Gulf countries. In 2022, the CBI registered a case and started trying to find him from the 26 -year -old photo. In August 2025, it was reported that he was coming to India and was caught at the airport.
In court, his lawyer said that there is no concrete evidence and he has been implicated on the basis of just a piece of cloth. At the same time, the CBI said that he is a habitual criminal and has committed passports many times. At present, the court has postponed the hearing on his bail plea till September 12 and sent him to judicial custody.
