Singing Vande Mataram Made Compulsory In All Educational Institutions Of UP: Singing of Vande Mataram will be made compulsory in all educational institutions of UP, announced CM Yogi Adityanath.

New Delhi. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced to make singing Vande Mataram mandatory in all schools of the state. During a program organized in Gorakhpur on the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Yogi said, there should be a sense of respect towards the national song Vande Mataram. We will make singing of Vande Mataram mandatory in every educational institution of Uttar Pradesh, so that the feeling of reverence and respect for the motherland can be awakened in the minds of every citizen of the state. It is necessary for everyone to sing the national song Vande Mataram collectively in every school and college as a mark of gratitude.

CM Yogi Adityanath said, it is our good fortune that programs have started across the country to commemorate the completion of the 150th birth anniversary of the Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and the entry of the Vande Mataram song into its 150th year. Yogi Adityanath further said, those factors that weaken national unity and integrity will have to be found and effectively attacked. So that in the future, no other Jinnah would be born and challenge the integrity of India. Today’s Ekta Yatra is calling for widespread public awareness.

Yogi said, Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel had also appealed to the countrymen that independence does not only mean freedom but also makes us realize our responsibilities towards the nation. He had also said for the youth of the country that slavery can never come in a country whose youth is awakened and aware. We have to keep both these things in mind, national unity is working to take these things forward. Along with this, while paying humble tribute to Sardar Patel, Yogi also paid tribute to Bankim Chandra, the creator of the national song Vande Mataram.
