The Central Government told the Supreme Court that Indians have been defrauded only to the tune of Rs 3000 crore by making digital arrests. Most of the victims are elderly. Those who lost their savings to fraudsters.

On this, the bench headed by Justice Surya Kant said that if we turn a blind eye to this problem or bow down before it and do not give strict orders, then the problem will increase further.
