New Delhi. Tej Pratap Yadav, founder of Janashakti Janata Dal, is giving new challenges to the opposition and especially RJD every day. First, Tej Pratap himself filed nomination from Mahua and now he has fielded his party’s candidate against Raghopur Assembly constituency from where his younger brother and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is contesting. Tej Pratap has given ticket to Prem Kumar Yadav as Janashakti Janata Dal candidate from Raghopur Assembly. Prem Kumar Yadav was earlier the general secretary of youth RJD. Later he came to Tej Pratap’s party.

Tejashwi Yadav is the current MLA from Raghopur seat and just two days ago he has filed nomination from there for the upcoming assembly elections. Raghopur is considered one of the VIP seats of Bihar. From Lalu Yadav to Rabri Devi, they have held the post of Chief Minister while being MLAs from Raghopur. Tejashwi Yadav also became Deputy CM while being MLA from Raghopur and is currently in the role of Leader of Opposition. Talking about caste equations, Raghopur is a Yadav dominated area. Although this seat is considered to be RJD’s stronghold, but Tej Pratap Yadav fielding his party’s Yadav candidate from here can definitely make a dent in RJD’s vote bank.
This is a matter of concern for both Tejashwi Yadav and his party RJD. Let us tell you that Tej Pratap has made it clear through his attitude that now he is ready to openly challenge whoever is in front of him. Although, what Tej Pratap and his party Janashakti Janata Dal can do in this election will be known only after the results are declared, but BJP has definitely called Tej Pratap an X factor of the opposition.
