Tej Pratap Yadav has a private residence in Beur area of Patna. There is an outstanding electricity bill of Rs 3 lakh at Tej Pratap’s personal residence. Despite so much outstanding bill, the electricity department did not cut off the electricity at Tej Pratap Yadav’s residence. As a result, electricity is being used indiscriminately in Tej Pratap Yadav’s house. Now after the news of outstanding bill comes, Bihar Electricity Department says that it is going to send a notice to Tej Pratap Yadav. Till the time of writing the news, there was no statement from Tej Pratap Yadav on the outstanding electricity bill.
According to the Electricity Department, a bill of more than Rs 3.56 lakh is outstanding at the personal residence of Tej Pratap Yadav. Tej Pratap Yadav last paid the electricity bill in 2022. After that the bills kept coming, but Tej Pratap did not deposit the electricity money. According to the electricity department, the average electricity consumption every month in Tej Pratap Yadav’s personal residence is 500 units. Electricity connection was given to Tej Pratap’s private residence in the year 2018. Questions are also being raised on Bihar Electricity Department due to laxity in this matter.
According to the rules of Bihar Electricity Department, electricity is disconnected if the outstanding bill is more than Rs 25,000. Still, in the case of Tej Pratap Yadav, the officers and employees of the electricity department remained idle. Now everyone’s eyes are on whether Tej Pratap Yadav pays the bill or the electricity at his residence is cut off. Let us tell you that Bihar Electricity Department does not speed up the recovery of the bill. Due to this, Bihar Electricity Department has not been able to get the dues of Rs 5000 crore from the consumers. Lalu Yadav has already expelled Tej Pratap Yadav from the family and RJD for having relations with Anushka Yadav. After this, Tej Pratap Yadav also contested the Bihar Assembly elections by forming Janashakti Janata Dal, but he lost badly from Mahua seat. In such a situation, Tej Pratap Yadav is no longer even an MLA.
