Tejashwi Yadav said that in other states there is a provision to give pension to Panchayat and Gram Kachari representatives. Therefore, if the Grand Alliance government is formed, it will be implemented in Bihar also. Tejashwi said that Panchayat and Gram Kachari representatives will also be given insurance of Rs 50 lakh if their government is formed. Making a series of promises, Tejashwi Yadav said that the distributors of the public distribution system in Bihar will get honorarium. Besides, the margin money they get on every quintal of grain will also be increased. He also talked about providing one-time financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to barber, carpenter, potter and blacksmith sections. So that they can start their own employment. Tejashwi Yadav also promised to implement the 58 year old age limit out of compassion.
Earlier recently, Tejashwi Yadav had promised to give a government job to one person from every family of Bihar. Tejashwi had said that if the Grand Alliance government is formed, they will make a law in 20 days and give government jobs to all the families in 20 months. There are 2.76 crore families in Bihar. In such a situation, NDA parties including BJP are raising questions on this announcement of Tejashwi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself has asked this question that where will so many government jobs come from and even if jobs are given, where will the money to pay salaries come from? On this, RJD leaders say that Tejashwi does whatever he says. RJD leaders say that Tejashwi had given 5.5 lakh government jobs in 17 months when he was Deputy CM.
