Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) terrorist Yasin Malik has said that I met Lashkar-e-Taiba founder in Pakistan and Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the 26/11 attack in 2006, on the request of Indian intelligence officials and after this meeting, the then Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh, had personally thanked and praised me. Malik said in the affidavit that this meeting was done with Pakistan at the behest of senior intelligence officials of India as part of the secret peace process.
According to Yasin Malik, after the earthquake in Kashmir in 2005, the then Special Director of IB V.K. Joshi met her in Delhi. Joshi had requested to support the peace efforts of the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh by interacting with the Pakistani political leadership and terrorists including Saeed. Malik said that for this reason I agreed to meet Hafiz Saeed and other leaders of the United Jihad Council at a function in Pakistan. He said that after returning from Pakistan, the IB briefed him and asked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to meet him the same evening. In that meeting, the then National Security Advisor M.K.
