E-recurrence card facility will be available for foreign travelers from October 1 at Delhi Airport. This is a system that will provide the facility to give online information instead of giving information to international passengers on paper -based cards.
Delhi Airport Operator DIAL said in a release on Tuesday that this facility will make the arrival process easier for passengers, improve efficiency, reduce queues and help in the durability goals of the airport by reducing paper use.
Under this new digital initiative, foreign travelers will now be able to enter their information through online platform instead of filling paper arrival cards at the airport. This will not only save time, but will also reduce immigration queues and will also promote environmental protection by decreasing the use of paper.
This facility is similar to the facilities available at world -class airports like Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea and Malaysia.
