To maintain the progress of Bihar, it is necessary to extend the tenure of the current government: TDP leader Nara Lokesh.

Andhra Pradesh minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Nara Lokesh said on Sunday that it is very important to extend the tenure of the current government to maintain the pace of development in Bihar.

Speaking to reporters during the election campaign in support of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates in Bihar, he said, “Developed Bihar is an important condition of developed India.”

Lokesh alleged that before Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s rule, there was ‘jungle raj’ in Bihar, but now the state has become an “orderly and better law and order state”.

Referring to the NDA government at both the Center and the state, he said, “Bihar and Andhra Pradesh have been allocated the largest share in the Centre’s 2025-26 budget, which has led to the creation of better infrastructure and promotion of establishment of educational institutions.”

It is noteworthy that Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is a part of the Bharatiya Janata Party led NDA.
