Vijay targeted the ruling party DMK and CM Stalin of Tamil Nadu and said, “Mr. Chief Minister, if you have the idea of taking revenge, you can do anything with me but not with the party’s people.” You can come to my house or my office and take any action against me, do whatever you want with me. Vijay dismissed the allegations of any mistake made by his supporters. Vijay raised the question that we campaigned in five districts, then why did this happen in Karur? Vijay said that people know the truth and understand everything.
Vijay raised the demand for a fair and independent investigation of this tragic accident. He said that we need to bring out the truth so that such an accident never happens again. Let us tell you that 41 people were killed and 110 were injured when a stampede was caused during Vijay’s election rally in Karur on 27 September. The dead also included women and children.
