Due to increasing military tension in the Middle East, flight operations have been stopped at Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport. Due to this, more than 700 flights have been canceled and lakhs of passengers are stuck in Dubai. In view of this problem of passengers, UAE government and many private companies of Dubai have taken a big decision. Now stranded passengers are being given free hotels and accommodation in the city.
What facilities will the passengers get?
UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority has announced that the government will bear the entire cost of accommodation and food for all the passengers who are stranded due to the closure of airspace. Along with this, private companies like Deluxe Holiday Homes and Driven Holiday Homes have also put forward their hands. These companies are giving houses and rooms to tourists to stay for free. Officials said that passengers stranded in transit are being given priority in providing accommodation in hotels and airport lounges.
