Since this attack, a total of 11 people have lost their lives in UAE. The dead included two members of the army, a Moroccan civilian contractor and eight other civilians. These eight citizens were of Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi, Palestinian and Indian origin. A total of 171 people were injured, whose injuries ranged from minor to serious.
