As the Asia Cup 2025 approachs, Team India has intensified its preparations. On Thursday, the Indian cricket team left for Dubai, which is considered the first major step before the start of the tournament. The competition will start from 9 September and India’s first match will be played against UAE at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 10 September.

This time the method of preparation is different
Like last time the team is not gathering in Mumbai and not camping. The BCCI has instructed the players to reach Dubai directly, so that they can start practice by refreshed. The team’s first net session will be held on 5 September at the ICC Academy.
The entire squad will gather in Dubai
According to BCCI officials, all 15 players and 5 reserves will be present in Dubai till Thursday night. Reserve players like Washington Sundar, famous Krishna and Yashasvi Jaiswal will join the team if needed.
Shubman Gill, Jaspreet Bumrah and Jitesh Sharma have been included in the team after passing the fitness test. In the absence of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav will now be captain and Shubman Gill vice -captain.
