The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the death of famous singer Zubin Garg has filed a complaint with the Assam Police Crime Branch against independent MLA Akhil Gogoi for circulating “unconfirmed” documents related to the chargesheet in the case on social media.
A senior official said on Friday that dissemination of such documents was “illegal” and would “mislead the public and create confusion”.
