New Delhi. The country’s oldest party Congress is going through a bad phase. There was a time when the party used to dominate the whole country. Today the condition of the party has become so pathetic that it is confined to only 2 states. The Congress government is left in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh only. But in both the states too, many times the news of internal discord is also coming to the fore. Apart from this, many veteran Congress leaders are leaving the party and joining the other party. All the efforts made by the high command in the direction of reforming the party are dying before they become successful. The dissatisfied camp of the party is continuously demanding a change of leadership by giving the plight of the party to the high command, but no attention is being paid to it. However, now the Congress has made up its mind to prepare a complete framework to include Prashant Kishor in the party to rectify its situation. Now in such a situation, after the entry of Prashant Kishor, whether there is any improvement in the condition of the party or not. For now, only time will tell.
At the same time, now there is news that due to the bad plight of the party, a Youth Congress leader in Assam has decided to leave politics and become a militant. According to reports, Youth Congress Vice President of Tinsukia district Janardan Gogoi has joined the banned separatist organization United Liberation Front of Assam (Independent). Janardan Gogoi has given this information through social media. At the same time, there has been a stir in the Congress party after Janardan Gogoi’s association with the banned separatist organization ULFA. Let us tell you that recently there were also reports that a large number of youths are leaving their homes and joining the militant organization. According to the report of an English newspaper, Janardan Gogoi wrote a Facebook post written in the name of his wife, in which he said, ‘I cannot see my own people being ruined, because they are helpless in their own state. Culture, language and identity are being destroyed in a phased manner.
However, it is clear from the above episode that despite its pathetic condition, the party is not serious about taking beneficial steps for itself. Nor is the party sensitive to the issues being referred by its stakeholders, hence such steps are being taken. Now in such a situation, what is the stand of the party on all these subjects going forward. All eyes will be on this.
