Imran Khan has been ousted from the power of Pakistan and former PM Nawaz Sharif’s brother Shahbaz Sharif is on the way to become the new Wazir-e-Azam. The new PM will be announced in the Pakistan Parliament on Monday. Shahbaz Sharif has started showing his true colors even before becoming the PM. Shahbaz Sharif has said that there will be no talks with India until the Kashmir issue is resolved.
Political experts believe that Pakistan’s politics begins with India and ends by making statements on India. While addressing the public repeatedly for fear of losing his power, Imran Khan praised India, while on the other hand Shahbaz Sharif, who is moving towards becoming the new PM, has given a statement against India. Talking to the media after nominating the post of PM, Shahbaz Sharif said that till the Kashmir issue is not resolved, there will be no talks with India.
Let us tell that at this time, apart from the political crisis, Pakistan is struggling with inflation, rising unemployment and foreign debt of trillions. After the departure of Imran Khan, it is a new challenge to make Pakistan stand firmly in front of Shahbaz Sharif, but instead of giving jobs to his people, controlling inflation and talking on the economic strength of the country, he is chanting the melody of Kashmir.
Significantly, after three years, seven months and 23 days, Imran Khan lost the no-confidence motion in Pakistan’s National Assembly session in the early hours of Sunday. The National Assembly will now vote on April 11 to elect Khan’s successor. On Sunday, 174 members voted in favor of the no-confidence motion in the 342-member House of Pakistan. Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shahbaz Sharif, who is currently the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, is set to become the next prime minister. It is being told that Bilawal Bhutto can be made the foreign minister.
