Former Twitter CEO Parag Aggarwal has made a big bet in the field of AI. With the purchase of Twitter, Elon Musk had shown the way out of Twitter to Indian-origin Parag Aggarwal. There was a tussle going on between Elon Musk and Parag Aggarwal for a long time. Parag Aggarwal welcomed Musk when he joined the Twitter board. Parag Agarwal was in the news after the completion of the Twitter deal. Not only this, Parag Aggarwal has also filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk for not giving service of Rs 1000 crore.
Working on AI startup
After being fired from Twitter, Parag Aggarwal is working on a new startup in AI i.e. Artificial Intelligence. For this, Parag Aggarwal has received funding worth crores of rupees. Two big technology firms, Index Ventures and First Round Capital, have shown interest in his AI startup. Parag Aggarwal has so far raised Rs 250 crore for his AI startup. After being kicked out of Twitter by Elon Musk, he has been working on AI for the last one year. However, not much information has been revealed yet about this startup of Parag Aggarwal.
If reports are to be believed, these days Parag Aggarwal will work to create software for Large Language Model (LLM) used in ChatGPT and Google Gemini AI. LLM is a model that trains AI to respond and helps answer the most complex questions asked by users. Many types of software are used to provide training to LLM. This new AI startup by Parag Aggarwal will create this kind of software.
Dispute with Elon Musk
Parag Aggarwal took charge as CEO of Twitter on 29 November 2021. The then CEO Jack Dorsey had appointed Parag Aggarwal to the post of CEO. He was thrown out of the company in October after Elon Musk bought Twitter in 2022. Parag Agarwal was reportedly supposed to get Rs 400 crore for servitude pay after being fired from Twitter, but Elon Musk has not given him this amount, after which Parag Agarwal filed a lawsuit against Musk. After purchasing Twitter, Musk changed the name of this company to X.
