Patna. Students of Government Middle School Pahari took to the streets today and created a ruckus, demanding the opening of a high school in ward number 56 of Agamkuan police station area of Patna City. Angry students set fire to the road and blocked NH 30 for hours, due to which the traffic system was badly affected.
Due to the huge jam on NH 30, there was a huge jam on Patna-Gaya route also. As soon as the information about the road jam was received, the police from various police stations reached the spot and after a lot of effort, pacified the angry students and normalized the operations on NH 30. On this occasion, the angry students of Government Middle School Pahari said that there is not even a single high school in Ward 56, hence they are not able to get admission anywhere after passing the 8th class examination.

School students Sanjay Kumar, Vishal Kumar, Subhash Kumar and student Anjali Kumari told that the high school located in another ward is directly refusing to take their admission. In such a situation, their future has become bleak. The angry students reiterated their demand for opening of a high school in Abhilamb Ward 56 and also demanded that as an alternative arrangement, the Government Middle School Pahari should be upgraded to a high school.
Due to this uproar by students, the traffic system on NH 30 has collapsed for about 2 hours. Later, police from various police stations normalized operations on NH 30.
