Raipur (State Bureau). In Chhattisgarh, the requirement of local resident has been abolished for recruitment of assistant teachers in all the districts of Bastar and Surguja divisions, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi and Korba. The General Administration Department (GAD) has issued its notification.
But the recruitment of local has to be done thrice before giving the chance to the outsider. Even after this, if the posts remain vacant, then only outsiders will be appointed. The proposal of the state government to relax the recruitment rules was recently approved by Governor Anusuiya Uikey, now its notification has been issued.
