First of all, veteran wrestler Bajrang Punia won the gold medal by defeating Lachlan McNeill of Canada 9-2 in the 65 kg category. Whereas, Anshu Malik took part in an international competition for the first time and won silver medal in 57 kg category. She lost to Odunayo Adekuroye of Nigeria.
