New Delhi. Congress party has suffered another big loss in Maharashtra. However, this time no leader has left the party but the party has had to take action. Congress has expelled Sanjay Nirupam from the party for 6 years. Due to complaints of indiscipline and anti-party rhetoric, Congress has taken expulsion action against Sanjay Nirupam. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge approved the expulsion of Sanjay Nirupam and barred him from the party for 6 years with immediate effect.
Rhetoric and rebellious attitude
Before the expulsion action, Sanjay Nirupam targeted the party by tweeting on Wednesday. He wrote that Congress Party should not waste much energy and stationery for me. Instead, use your remaining energy and stationery to save the party. Anyway, the party is going through a severe economic crisis. The period of one week that I had given has been completed today. Tomorrow I will take the decision myself.
