Cab service provider company Ola made a lot of headlines by launching its electric scooter in the Indian market. Sometimes people were excited about the booking of this scooter and sometimes about the driving range. However, as fast as the popularity of this scooter skyrocketed, people are seen complaining about it on social media. At the moment, it seems that Ola will have to cross several hurdles to make it to the market.
We are saying this because Ola has faced many complaints by its customers. One of the customers took to his Twitter handle and shared a picture of him pulling off his Ola S1 Pro e-scooter. In the caption, he explained the issue saying that his scooter was delivered just a day back but had problems with the headlight along with some strange noises.
Defect in headlight of new scooter
After which the scooter was taken for repair. At the same time, when the scooter was returned to the owner, the owner noticed a broken number plate and oil marks on the scooter. Further, the owner said that the scooter was used for around 19 km, however when the scooter was given to recover it had covered just 6 km. However, the documents for repair were not provided. This disappointed the owner.
Customer disappointed with the cost of insurance
The difference between the amount charged for insurance by an owner of an Ola electric scooter and the premium amount as mentioned in the policy document. As against Rs 7,471 paid by the owner, only Rs 6,695 shows up on the policy document. To which the company does not have an answer.
Unknown range not found
Apart from this, Ola scooter users have also raised questions about the range, according to the owner, the driving range stated by the company is not delivered by Ola scooter. Real-world driving ranges are reported to be 121 km for the Ola S1 and 181 km for the S1 Pro. Although Ola has already issued an advisory for this.
