On the basis of his innings, Dhoni was able to create a history in IPL which no Indian player has been able to create till now.

When Mahendra Singh Dhoni came to bat in this match, Chennai Super Kings had scored 186 runs till the second ball of the 20th over. Dhoni took the strike and hit a six towards long off on the first ball of his innings, after this he hit the second ball towards long on with full force and again delivered the ball for a six, while Dhoni hit the third ball wide.
