Goa, which has 40-member assembly seats, went to polls in a single phase on February 14. Most of the exit polls that came on Monday showed a tough fight between the Congress-BJP in Goa.

Sawant said, I think I will get the chance again
After meeting PM Modi, Pramod Sawant said that he discussed with PM Modi about the elections. Pramod Sawant said, I met PM Modi today and had an election discussion. We will form the government with maximum seats. I think once again I will be given a chance to serve (as Chief Minister of Goa). If BJP has said so (his candidature as Chief Minister), it will definitely happen. BJP does as it says.
Pramod Sawat said that BJP will get more than 20 seats. All exit polls are showing majority for BJP. I am sure that people will give majority to BJP and once again BJP will form government with regional parties and independents.
