Saharanpur. Taking the Congress to task, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that the Congress manifesto reflects the same thinking which was in the Muslim League during the freedom movement. Modi said that the Congress manifesto completely bears the imprint of the Muslim League and whatever part of it is left, the leftists have completely dominated it. Congress is not visible at all in this. Without taking the names of Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav, Modi said that you will remember that the film starring two boys had flopped last time in Uttar Pradesh. These people have re-released the films of those two boys. I don’t understand how many times these ‘Indi’ coalition people will offer this wooden pot.
While addressing an election rally in Saharanpur, Modi said that ‘The Congress which fought for freedom has ended decades ago. The Congress that is left now neither has policies in the interest of the country nor the vision of nation building. The kind of manifesto issued by the Congress yesterday has proved that today’s Congress is completely disconnected from the hopes and aspirations of today’s India.
PM Narendra Modi said that ‘The manifesto of Congress reflects the same thinking which was in the Muslim League during the freedom movement. The Congress manifesto completely bears the imprint of the Muslim League and whatever part of it is left, the leftists have completely dominated it. Congress is not visible at all in this. The situation of SP in Uttar Pradesh is such that they have to change their candidates every hour, whereas the situation of Congress is even more strange, Congress is not getting candidates at all.
‘Print of Muslim League in Congress manifesto, leftists have dominated’ PM Modi attacked a lot in Saharanpur rally
PM Narendra Modi said that even in the seats which Congress considered its stronghold, it is not able to muster the courage to field candidates. Perhaps the Prime Minister is referring to Amethi and Rae Bareli seats of UP, where Congress has not yet announced the name of the candidate. He said that ‘Indi alliance has become another name for instability and uncertainty and hence the country is not taking even a single thing they say seriously today.’
