Talking to TV channel News 18 UP, Dharamveer Prajapati said, “Many prisoners in jail are professionals but there are some who reach jail due to circumstances. I had in my mind that there would be many such prisoners who are in jail because of accidental incidents. I wish that Gayatri Mantra and Mahamrityunjaya Mantra should be played to change the mood of such prisoners.
Jail Minister Prajapati said, “There are people who believe in Sanatan Dharma in our country, all believe in God. I believe that wherever Katha-Bhagwat and chanting takes place, the atmosphere changes. People’s mood changes. In such a situation, I have issued instructions that after the morning prayer, the Gayatri Mantra or Mahamrityunjaya Mantra should be recited.
He said, “By doing this it is possible that the mood of the prisoners changes and their behavior changes. They will get a chance to improve. When he gets out of jail, he will be able to lead a good life. It will send a better message.”
Government’s big decision on Madrasas: It is worth noting that the Yogi government has also taken a big decision regarding madrassas. The state government is emphasizing on providing modern education in madrassas. In such a situation, UP Minister of State for Minority Welfare, Danish Azad Ansari said that the Yogi government is going to rejuvenate the madrassas. In order to provide modern education to the children in the madrasas, the madrassa board will launch the app in Arabic and the children will be taught about the freedom fighters.
Danish Azad said that the government will abolish 5339 posts in madrassas giving religious education. He said, “Biographies of great personalities will be taught to the children. So that the children of minority community can understand whose contribution in making India great.
According to him, the intention of the government is that the children of madrasas can also participate equally in competitive preparations with modern education. However, with this change, the government has decided to abolish more than 5 thousand posts in madrassas giving dini education.
