The Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress are part of the alliance in the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra. At the same time, recently there has been a contradiction among the parties of this alliance. In fact, Shiv Sena chief and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has raised the issue of NCP’s alleged leniency with the BJP in front of NCP chief Sharad Pawar. Let us tell you that Uddhav Thackeray is said to be worried about the soft stand of the NCP towards the BJP.
According to The Indian Express, Shiv Sena sources point to several instances when the NCP should have raised a stronger voice against the BJP but appeared to be on the “backfoot”. For example, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis was asked by the Mumbai Police to appear before the cyber wing KBC office in connection with the phone tapping case. But on March 13, Mumbai Police changed its decision.
After this the police went to his house to take Fadnavis’s statement. Explain that the responsibility of the Ministry of Home Affairs lies with the NCP leader. In such a situation, the police department is also with this ministry. Shiv Sena is not happy with this.
Apart from this, in February, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested NCP leader Nawab Malik. There was a war of words between Shiv Sena and BJP regarding this. During this, NCP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar had said in the media that at this time both sides should calm down and prevent things from getting out of control.
Not only this, last year 12 MLAs of the Bharatiya Janata Party were suspended for a scuffle with the Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. In this case also, Ajit Pawar had given a statement that the MLAs could be punished for a few hours or a few days better than suspending them for a year.
Apart from this, NCP leader Majeed Memon recently praised Prime Minister Modi in one of his tweets. He wrote, “If Narendra Modi is winning the mandate of the people and he is also shown as the most popular leader of the world, then he must have some qualities or good deeds which he must have done and he is not among the opposition leaders. “
On Shiv Sena’s soft remarks, a senior NCP leader told The Indian Express on condition of anonymity, “Though we are aggressively fighting the BJP, some Shiv Sena leaders feel that the NCP should Should be more aggressive as the Home Department is with us.”
On the other hand, a senior Congress leader has said that if someone is indulging in his politics of vendetta, it does not mean that we should also do the same thing.
