According to V Kamakoti, Director, IIT Madras, this course is the first of its kind in India and will have a huge impact in India in the days to come. We will be able to feel its impact in the next few years. This course is being provided free of cost. This course will be of great benefit to the school and college students, especially those living in rural India. Out-of-the-box thinking or ‘out of the box thinking’ uses the power of reasoning to solve problems indirectly and creatively, which are not immediately apparent.
It requires thought and cannot be achieved only in the traditional way. In this unique course, the emphasis is on logically rediscovering the known and unknown facts of mathematics to develop interest. The course will be taught by Sadagopan Rajesh, a math teacher and founder director of Aryabhatta Institute of Mathematical Science. He has been teaching maths to students at different levels of schools and colleges for over 30 years and encouraging them through a variety of creative curricula.
